Traveling Stitcher to Liverpool

Well just got back from a day tip to Liverpool and decided to take my cross stitch with me, sadly I managed to leave my current WIPs at work with my q-snap frame and thought that it would be the perfect time to bring out my Traveling Stitcher by Little House Needleworks. I bought it because a) seriously how cute is that pattern and b) because I got seven “free” Classic  Colorworks threads (Tufted Yellow, Ladybug, Brandied Pears, Cocoa Bean, Cobbled Peach, Bean Sprout, Peanut Brittle) which I always need. I also bought two other colours to make the houses more me but for the life of me cannot remember what and I’m too tired to move! So will put that in an update sometime. Fabric is lemon sorbet by crafty kitten as always!!

In other news Liverpool was great bought my weight in Hotel Chocolate as always, ate loads of Vegan food (my sister is Vegan and I try to keep the same while on holiday makes it easier for everyone!) and I managed to throw up my pizza on the boat back as it was so rough. Ahhhh well it’s a small price to pay for living in the best place ever.

New Start – Hill House

Yay! New start. So excited by this one (sorry for the legs in the photo, it’s damn hot here so I have short shorts on lol), mainly because I call our little home Manx Cottage on the Hill! Unsure yet if I am going to change the writing but I feel like I’m probably 70% sure I probably will.

Pattern is Hill House from Little House Needleworks and I’m stitching it on 40ct Newcastle – Antique White. I’m finding this 40ct a hundred times better than the 40ct I used for Apple Picking, wonder if it’s because this one is white lol.

Oh and also wish I had all the colour, which I don’t! Just the chives for now but I have been paid so am going to get the others soon.

Apple Pickin

Oh I am so so so in love with this beauty, it did take a while to finish and half way to finishing I lost my stitching mojo, thankfully back now.

Pattern is called Apple Pickin by Little House Needleworks, hoping to finish into a small with some deep red rick rac around the edges. The pattern came with Wagon Wheel and Hayride by Classic Colorworks and suggested with Barn Door or Cherry Cobbler as a suitable red, of which I went with the later.

Already started anothe WIP around 10 seconds once this was of the q-snap lol!
